Our experienced cardiac rehabilitation team works with you to create an individualized plan based on your health, fitness level, goals, and lifestyle. You don’t have to navigate recovery alone.
More Than Exercise
Cardiac rehabilitation is more than working out. It is a comprehensive program focused on helping you become stronger, healthier, and more confident in managing your heart health.
Your program may include:
- Medically supervised exercise tailored to your individual needs and abilities
- Heart health education to help you better understand and manage your condition
- Nutrition and lifestyle guidance to support long-term cardiovascular health
- Risk-factor management to help reduce your chances of future cardiac events
- Emotional support as you adjust to life after a cardiac event or procedure
- Personalized goals and progress tracking so you can see your improvement along the way
- A supportive environment where you can connect with others who understand what you’re experiencing
Research has shown participation in a structured cardiac rehabilitation program can improve physical fitness and quality of life while helping reduce the risk of future cardiac events and hospitalizations.
Who Can Benefit?
Cardiac rehabilitation may be recommended for people who have experienced or are recovering from:
- Acute myocardial infarction (heart attack) within the preceding 12 months
- Heart or heart-lung transplant
- Stable chronic heart failure with an ejection fraction of 35% or less and NYHA Class II–IV symptoms
- Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), including coronary angioplasty or stent placement
- Heart valve repair or replacement
- Coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG)
- Current stable angina pectoris
Your Recovery. Your Goals. Your Program.
Our outpatient cardiac rehabilitation program typically lasts six to 12 weeks, with sessions three days a week. Each session combines supervised exercise with education and support to help you build healthier habits that last beyond the program.
The goal isn’t simply to help you exercise. It’s to help you get back to living your life.
Whether you’re working toward returning to work, getting back to your favorite activities, improving your endurance, or simply feeling more confident in your everyday life, we’re here to help you move forward.
If you’ve recently experienced a cardiac event or procedure, talk with your physician about whether cardiac rehabilitation is right for you.
