When an urgent pregnancy-related or gynecological concern arises, you don’t have to wait for an appointment. Our five-bed Obstetrics and Gynecology Emergency Department provides specialized emergency care for women 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Our OB/GYN ED is staffed by a physician around the clock, providing timely evaluation and care when you need it most.

From unexpected pregnancy-related concerns to urgent gynecological issues, our experienced team is prepared to provide compassionate, specialized care in a dedicated emergency setting.

Gynecological Issues:

• Heavy or abnormal vaginal bleeding
• Severe or sudden pelvic or lower abdominal pain
• Suspected ovarian cyst complications
• Suspected ovarian torsion
• Pelvic infections and pelvic inflammatory disease (PID)
• Severe vaginal or vulvar pain, swelling, or infection
• Complications following gynecological procedures or surgery
• Other urgent gynecological concerns requiring immediate evaluation

Pregnancy-Related Concerns:

• Vaginal bleeding during pregnancy
• Abdominal pain or suspected pregnancy complications
• Severe nausea and vomiting during pregnancy
• High blood pressure and symptoms of preeclampsia
• Decreased fetal movement
• Suspected rupture of membranes (water breaking)
• Preterm contractions or signs of labor
• Postpartum complications including (but not limited to) heavy bleeding, elevated blood pressure, and infection
