We were the first hospital in this region to achieve the prestigious ACE (Accreditation for Cardiovascular Excellence) accreditation for both our cardiac catheterization and percutaneous coronary intervention programs.

The American College of Cardiology has recognized UK King's Daughters for demonstrated expertise and commitment in treating patients with chest pain. King's Daughters has been awarded Chest Pain Center Accreditation with Primary PCI continuously since 2004. Accreditation is based on rigorous onsite evaluation of our ability to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients who may be experiencing a heart attack.
Hospitals that have earned ACC Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI Accreditation have proven exceptional competency in treating patients with heart attack symptoms and have primary PCI available 24/7 every day of the year. They comply with standard Chest Pain Center protocols and are equipped with a robust hypothermia program for post-cardiac arrest treatment.
Our cardiology program has consistently been recognized by major, independent ratings groups for excellence in overall hospital care, cardiac care, cardiac surgery, heart attack treatment, and heart surgery.
