William Van Beneden, D.O.

I feel he was being a bit rushed, not totally involved in the discussion or fully understanding what I was saying/asking. It was my first visit and he did come highly recommended by a family member, but I had not much more information when I left as when I arrived. In his defense, he had been called to ER to cover for an emergency, and I saw him right after he returned. No return visit was requested (by doctor) and am unsure if he wants me to return.

He is truly the best ENT doctor. He definitely makes sure his patients are happy and if there's any questions, he answers those questions.

I want to start out my comment by saying I've never had an issue with a King's Daughters physician. I've only received good care through King's Daughters, but Dr. Van Beneden, he feels very dismissive and only spends approximately one to two minutes before literally running out of the door. During my last appointment with my daughter, we were the last patient of the day and he was talking to a nurse about a YouTube video he had watched very, very loudly in the hallway.

He is a great doctor and I would highly recommend him to anyone with their nose and throat problems.

I was there a couple of days ago and I still haven't had my prescription called in.

Dr. Van Beneden treats my son with such dignity and care that my son, who has Down's Syndrome, enjoys his medical appointment. Dr. Beneden sees and hears what my son has to say about his s/s. Dr van Beneden was very kind and actually listened, without exhibiting the age bias that many doctors don't even try to cover up. After just two days, the biopsy is already showing signs of healing. Yes, I will go back to him if I ever need his type of service.

Dr. Ben Benedict prescribed me medicine for my stomach for acid reflux, where I do not take anything for acid reflux because I'm not allowed. I have leukemia, and I take chemotherapy treatment. And he did not tell me what kind of medicine he was going to give me or whatever. And I have a sore throat. My throat is hurting me. and it got nothing to do with us to reflex because I don't have it. So I am very little disappointed of that. So they should find out what is wrong with the patients, what kind of illness, cancer, or they're taking any treatments so they can prescribe any kind of medication. So thank you.

I had a great experience with my appointment. The nurse was excellent. The doctor was awesome. And I just felt really good about the visit and how everything worked out. And I thanked them. And I would definitely come back for any other treatment I would need. They are the best.

I had to wait over an hour from my appointment time to be seen period. I think the provider is great, but I feel like an hour is a really long time to wait for an appointment.
