Dr. Grant is Awesome

Dr. Grant was so personable, and so informative about my procedure. His bed side manner is excellent. Working in healthcare definitely gives you a different perspective of what goes on inside the hospital, But he did a great job reassuring me that I would be in good hands.

Dr Grant is an amazing surgeon and provider. If I need any further procedures within his scope of practice thats who I will come back to. I really like him.

More places need to have colostamy bags and ect. on hand in case of an emergency. We had that problem.

Dr. Grant and his intern were very approachable and easy to talk to. Both appeared knowledgeable about my condition and the treatment that was expected to be provided. They both answered my questions in adequate detail.

Not sure if my insurance is going to cover how much of my health insurance is going to cover. So I had a new card, but they didn't want it yet. So I've switched from Wellcare to Humana, but they didn't want my card at the time, so I'm kind of don't really know yet. That's all. Thank you. Bye.

The waiting room way too small, I felt jammed in there

Dr. Grant took the time to go over the ultrasound results, he let me know how the procedure would go to remove my gallbladder. He is very personable.

He's great! I have awful anxiety about medical issues and he listened and didn't make me feel judged or uncomfortable at all. He answered all of my 9000 (probably irrelevant) questions so that I didn't go home and overthink about things. 10/10, great surgeon and easy to talk to!

I can't speak for the entire surgery department at UK-KDMC, but Dr. Grant was great through my entire recent medical experience. He diagnosed my condition correctly and he seemed to be truly concerned and caring about my condition and the outcome of my treatment while in the hospital. I highly recommend him to anyone needing surgery within the scope of his particular field of expertise.

He worked me in quickly and was very pleasant.

Dr. Grant has a very good bedside manner. He listens and explains in doctor speak and human speak, I feel is his doing it this so that I truly understand my issue.

It was an overall good experience and relieved all the anxiety I had been feeling about my condition.

She was very sweet and funny. I really liked her. I don't remeber her name though. But she also is included in my feedback! So great job guys. I really felt welcomed in this hospital. Can't wait to see them at my next visit!

Dr. Grant was a wonderful surgeon when I was admitted through the ER for an emergency appendectomy. I would trust him to do surgery on me any day & he truly listened to what I had to say as a patient, most providers don't have bedside manners, he definitely does & it shows he's absolutely wonderful!

This was a repeat problem which Dr reviewed and recounted suggestions from previous visit. Knew/reviewed my history prior to coming in to the exam room. Did NOT have his attention on a computer but was pleasant/professional with my issues and concern. Fully engaged with me but offered education to his student during the visit. Well done.

The service was very good. The nurse was very good. The doctor was very good. I understood the instructions and what was gonna take place. The only issue I have is it's gonna be two months before I'm able to get surgery for my issue. That's a long time to be in pain. I wish that there were either more surgeons or more available times to have the surgery done. Waiting that long is gonna be very hard, but I mean, there's nothing I can do about it, so I just have to wait. But that's all the input I have, thank you.

The only concern I would share is there is going to be a female med student shadowing Dr. Grant with a male patient. It should be told to him before the process.

This was my first occurrence with Dr. Grant. He was very good. He made me feel at ease. He asked me would I like to go ahead and have my operation then. I said yes, oh I would love it. He was so manly and I would love to go back to him, which I will in 10 days. Thank you.

My problem was not with the doctor's office, it was with your check-in people. Because I cannot get from my truck to the door, and there's no wheelchairs where you can wheel yourself. My husband has a pacemaker, he's not supposed to push me at all, and I cannot even get somebody to come out and move me from the truck to the main entrance door. And something needs to be done about that, whether y'all have to get some wheelchairs for us that can wheel ourselves, or get other people down there to help bring people inside.

Love Dr Grant and was a great visit. Scheduled for surgery but the wait is over 2 months away!

I was referred two times to two different doctor appts. by family physician and neither time did kdmc call to make appts. I had to call one and my family physician's office had to eventually call again to make an appt. Also, it was a long wait for surgery date.

Dr. Grant has done a very good job with removing my gallbladder and I appreciate his service very much. We'll use him again if needed.

Wonderful experience! Waiting room was deceptively full when I arrived. I settled in expecting a long wait. I was called back almost immediately. He listened to my concerns and made me feel comfortable.
