So I was seen quickly. The staff up front were very nice, except the Dr. Alhaj himself, whenever I was getting everything done and talking with him, I felt it was a complete waste of time. I went there for a follow-up after my OBGYN appointment. He was claiming I didn't go to an OBGYN when I went to a nurse practitioner that they did a pelvic exam and did everything and was like second questioning everything on what I did or didn't do when he had the medical records there and could look at them. And the thing was, it basically summarized to take your vitamin D2 and eat your calcium and we'll see you in six months. So it was a complete waste of time for me to go down there. So there's another nurse, not nurse, sorry, doctor down there that I'm requesting.

They know their job well. He's well too.

This doctor is a very kind respectful man. He's very knowledgeable and patient. He explains in detail what he plans for care. I've never had a doctor who listens so well. I love all of the staff -so kind. Best visits with a doctor I've ever had. He was very gentle with the punch biopsies.

I did not like the fact that they took me, as soon as I got to the office, to the waiting area, they took me back, but then I spent 30 minutes just sitting there waiting on Dr. Alhaj, and when he came in, there was no explanation, nothing. He just, it was just like nothing was wrong, so I didn't really appreciate that.

I have been seeing Dr. Alhaj since 2009 when my thyroid was removed. He's an excellent doctor and provides all the information about labs and medication. I definitely recommend him as a doctor to anyone looking for an endocrinologist.

I feel like Dr. Ahaj did not listen to my symptoms. I've been with Hashimoto's for 11 years and know when I have a flare-up and he just kind of brushed me off like not everything is your thyroid. Well, it comes back that my Hashimoto's is flared up now. So I feel like he did not listen to me and I know my body.

While I felt the experience as a whole was exceptional, I wish someone could study the process of a better time frame in having results read quicker. Someone had to know I didn't have a fracture or internal bleeding before the doctor was able to see those results. I was immediately seen, had the ordered test but wasn't dismissed until hours later. I do understand that emergencies are priority. Please take this as a suggestion, not a complaint. I plan to continue to go to UK-KDMC.

My only problem with kdmc is billing they are not helpful in resolving issues and they send my labs to ones tha are out of network. If I go to. Kdmc facility I believe my labs should be handled by kdmc who is in my network. I have been trying to resolve my bill since June of last year.

Dr. Alhaj and the endocrinology staff were patient, kind, and caring. The office was not very wheelchair accessible. The main door was impossible to open if you are a wheelchair user. The office space and exam rooms were small.

Yes. I saw Dr. Alzheimer's on a Tuesday. On a Monday, he was really, really good. He gave me all the information that I needed and was really courteous and really nice. I'd recommend him to anybody because he is one smart man and he does his job and he seems to worry about his patients. And thank you.

Dr. Alhaj's previous nurses, Cheryl and Melissa were amazing. They were timely and responsive either by answering the phone when I called or follow up with a returned call. However, Mary, the current nurse literally never answers the phone and the follow up is not timely. Often, faxes from third party pharmacies or pharmaceutical companies like Amgen send faxes to Mary's attention and she never addresses the matters which typically require prompt responses and follow ups. This has happened on two occasions already.

All staff was very friendly, punctual, respectful, courteous. His nurse, Mary, is absolutely great, along with the lab tech, Christy. They were both absolutely wonderful, and Christy's one of the best lab techs I've ever seen.

Dr. Alhag is a kind and knowledgeable physician. I have complete trust in him. His staff is efficient and kind as well.

Sometimes Dr Alhaj can be rather short in talking to me. When my husband is with me at an appointment, I can tell he has more respect for men than women. Even though I'm the patient, I see him looking to my husband when he speaks. Just being honest.

From beginning to the end of the appointment, everything was seamless. All the staff were extremely knowledgeable and kind and professional and therefore I will continue to use UK King's Daughters for all of my needs moving forward.

This Dr was the most educated and answered my questions more than any other in the past.

I waited too long in the waiting room and the exam room. After 20 or 30 minutes of waiting after the appointment time the office staff should check in and provide an estimated additional wait time so patients are not left wondering if they have been forgotten. I felt as though Dr. Alhaj is friendly and probably fairly knowledgeable about some things, he is way under informed (goes by the old school book) about my particular issue. It is a common issue so its not like there isn't a ton of information out there. Maybe requiring docs to stay updated would be helpful. CMEs are easy to get so telling me that there is a requirement is pointless.
