Dr Darnell had great professionalism, gets to the point quickly but also listening thoroughly to the patient, and makes good courses of action to take to alleviate ailments. I trust him very much and enjoy visiting with him. :)

My recent visit with my podiatrist, Dr. Jerod Darnell, reminded me what skilled medical care truly looks like. I walked into his office barely able to put weight on my ankle due to a severe gout flare. He diagnosed the problem quickly, explained it clearly, and prescribed the right medication without hesitation. By the next afternoon, I was back on my feet and moving at a pretty respectable gait. I trust my feet to the hands of a doctor who knows his craft, respects his patients, and delivers results when they're needed most.

Dr Darnell has an amazing bedside manner. He made sure I understood the treatment alternatives explained what to expect highly recommend. There needs to be valet services available. The walk from the parking lot can be quite taxing.

This facility needs a valet. It's very hard for people who are older and on walkers to even get in. They need a valet or someone to help them get in and better entrances to this. It's very, very hard.

He is a super doctor and he knows what he's doing and he's very gentle. I hate to say that being a man myself, but my feet did hurt. He is a good person.

So, Dr. Darnell was able to do ortholetics when he had his personal office and business, but after going to KDMC, he is not able to do ortholeics in-house. So, that one issue I wanted to say, it creates a problem for the patients. It used to be great in the past. So, if that can be changed in coming future, that would be awesome. Thank you.

On October 7th I made an appointment with Dr. Jerod Darnell and the earliest appointment was on October 21. Which was good for me. I was put on a cancellation list and got in the very next day on October 8th. So I really appreciate the office getting me in so quickly. I always have the best experience with Dr. Jerod Darnell. He gave me such good care. He explained so much to me and was able to do X-Rays in his office. That made it so convenient. Dr. Darnell is such a phenomenal doctor with great staff. I stated Yes, somewhat re being seen in a timely manner. His first 4 appointments required more than their allotted time. If I required more than my allotted time, I would hope that other patients were understanding of that; not becoming upset at the physician for doing his/her job with precision. I've had significant pain in my foot for weeks, so bad I can't get around well and it affects my quality of life. I'm otherwise healthy. He told me to go to PT. I don't have the time or money for that. I cancelled my follow up and will never go back. Another example of how poor patients are treated at KDMC. I'll never go back to any provider there, only care about getting patients in the system and generating money. Shame on all of you. Next time I'll go to KDMC will be over my literal dead body. The level of care is so poor in this region and this makes it worse. Medical care isn't a money making scheme, it's a quality of life issue. Every provider I see says they "care about my health" but all I see is them caring about their billable hours. I'm sure this doctor, it's not his fault. This healthcare system is broken. Going back to when I broke my arm in November, I'd have gotten the same level of treatment if I lived on a desert island. For shame.

I have been to Dr Darnell for podiatry in the past and he helped me when i was having tremendous pain; He is very knowledgeable, and always considers every option until your pain is resolved and future relapses are lessened as much as possible with your understanding of the issue as well. The best foot doctor!

Jerod Darnell is a wonderful doctor. He cares and is very knowledgeable. I only wish you could see him without having a problem. Unless you go to Huntington, there is no one else. I've heard too many stories about Bailey to go to him. My dad tried him, but has stopped going too.

Toenail fungus. Three months ago he said treatment was being successful and 75% complete. Next visit (this visit) would be the last. Fungus is very active and I lose two toenails shortly. I had hurt my instep last Thursday. I mentioned the pain and was told the start of pain was probably a strain and too resent to be a concern. If it persisted to come back. He stood across the room. Never looked/touched my feet or offer what to do about my foot pain. Failure of fungus treatment was fully explained and why there were no other treatment options available.
