Having cancer can be daunting, needless to say. However, Dr. Salem is so kind, thoughtful, and very thorough in her, well, in everything she does. She speaks to you, not down to you. She makes it very clear and makes you very comfortable and at ease of what's going on. And I am quite pleased. In fact, I have so much confidence in her that I would like her to read all my reports of any time I see a doctor because I trust her implicitly.

She is a wonderful doctor.

It is obvious that Dr. Galena Salem cares a lot about her patients. The new building renovations look beautiful, but are hard to navigate. Fortunately, someone at the front desk was very helpful, and walked with me to the elevator that I needed.

The change of procedure to free up exam rooms quicker needs to be re-examined. Waiting for blood to be drawn was almost an hour. My usual total time for a visit was doubled. None of the above applies to Dr. Salem. She's the best! I trust her completely with my care.

I've been extremely happy with Dr Salem. We, (my wife and myself) wish when I'm a patient in the hospital they would contact her when we ask the 1st time , instead of giving us the runaround. She understands that it's seriousness to watch my ammonia levels , along with the electrolytes in balance along with not having his heart get out of rhythm.

Dr Salem is a very personable doctor who listens to me if I have a problem with a diagnosis or prognosis. I have always liked her in spite of her being an oncologist, since she deals with the big 'C.'
