    I have no way to get ahold of anyone if I need anything else prescribed or any questions or help. The ones that answer the phone are no help because all they do is send a message to the doctor who does not answer them back so it's pointless. There was a problem with one prescription already that did not go through to the pharmacy and I had to call several times and get upset until finally another nurse practioner had to sign it and send it through. I tried to stop the doctor when she was in a hurry to leave my appointment to ask about some other medications she could possibly prescribe to help my condition but she ignored me and went on. So I asked the nurse who told me she would ask her about it but I haven't heard anything. After the trouble I have had so far I definitely don't expect to get any help with anything.

    Dr. Bascom has been my stomach specialist for probably 20 years. She's an awesome doctor. Her staff's always, well, they're all very professional and she's very thorough and very caring and I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you.

      Dr. Bascom is a wonderful doctor. I've had the best experience with her. I've had, she's my third gastroenterologist and hands down, she's the best. I highly, highly recommend her.

      Seen her once and she ordered an outpatient procedure. Haven't visited her enough to know anything about her. Seems nice, procedure went well as far as I know. Hope I can be more insightful in the future once a good Doctor patient relationship is formed!

      I wouldn't recommend this doctor to most patients, especially if they're looking for stuff to be sugarcoated or they want a real good bedside manner. She's more of a straightforward, straight shooter type person. Thank you.

      I just wanted to make you aware, this is the first time that I saw this doctor. So she really didn't have all my medical records. She had some of them, but she didn't. She's never seen me before. But I'm really impressed and I really like her.

      That was my first visit with Dr. Bascom. She was highly recommended by the Colon Navigator at KDMC. I would have preferred that she reviewed my medical history of colon cancer and follow ups prior to the time of the visit when she was in the room with me and reading it off her computer.

      What Dr. Bascom did not know about me she asked questions and looked at my previous blood work and also looked at my last appointment with my medical provider. She was genuine and concerned about my issues, she ordered an extensive amount of tests to get down to the bottom of it. She listened to every concern I had and was willing to do whatever she could to help, even when it wasn't in her specialty, such as I had a wound that she was willing to send me to wound care if I thought it wasn't healing up because she was gonna send me to wound care. She set a plan for me. That was the first time I had seen her, I always had seen the PA

      She is very rude, doesn't listen to patients and even after myself and her nurse told her she did put in a surgeon referral I needed Dr Bacsom argued that she did not .. she finally seen she had an got upset and yelled "if we would stop interrupting her" she could explain what was wrong with me and I knew.
