Anna Elkins, APRN

The only thing that went awry from this visit was EKG orders were supposed to be added so I could do that during my CT visit, but the hospital intake rep couldn't find the orders and said it wasn't in the visit notes. When I called the office the desk clerk said he could see the orders. The hospital intake rep repeated that she couldn't. So that was unresolved, I wasn't able to get the test.

Anna Elkins has been my provider for several years. She knows my health issues and is always ready to listen. Don't know what I do without her.

I was referred to Anna Elkins for ostomy wound care from Cleveland Clinic. I liked Anna Elkins very much so, but she was not able to help me because she was not familiar with ostomies and colostomy bags. So she asked me to tell Cleveland Clinic to please do not refer anybody else to her and take her name off the list. So I do not know why Cleveland thought that she was able to take care of colostomy wound care or, you know, to tell me about anything I could do differently for colostomy bags. But Anna did not charge me for the visit because she was not able to really help me at all. We understood each other and I thanked her and she didn't, she was just not able to help me. So I mean, she seems like a very good doctor and I wouldn't care to go.

Anna was wonderful. I thank the world of her. She goes above and beyond what she needs to, and I feel so safe to have her take care of me and I'm under her care. Thank all the staff in there, the wonderful staff to the receptionists, to the nurses, to the people that take your blood. You got a great facility there. Thanks again, Kings Dodgers, and Anna, and all her staff.

Anna Elkins is a top notch health care professional. I trust her with all my health care concerns and tell anyone needing a super intelligent, concerned and caring Doctor that Anna will help them get on track with their health. KDMC needs to do all things possible to keep her in the system.

Anna is top of the line healthcare provider. I've got 11 doctors and none of them is better than her. She knows my history. She knows me and responds quickly and has always been very effective.

No, Anna is probably one of the best that you have there. She always tries to take care of you in a timely manner and she has always took care of my mom and then she's taking care of me. And like I said, Anna is probably one of the best ones you have there. Now, I like the other ones too, but I have a personal bomb with her, that you can tell she's always concerned, and that when you're with her, that she's going to do her best to help you feel better. Anna was a good doctor, listening, informative, educating. The only negative aspect was my prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy. They did confirm the pharmacy I needed and it still went to the wrong pharmacy. So that was the only downfall. Thank you.

The way that you could improve is to tell your providers not to make assumptions or be dismissive, to maybe educate themselves on new patients before coming in and telling them they do or do not have a disease they've been treated for for a year and a half, to not tell them you're not going to fill any of the prescriptions when they didn't even ask for the prescription to be filled, and then also insult them whenever they ask for advice on weight loss medication like they couldn't afford it out of pocket. The entire attitude and dismissiveness of the entire King Fetters medical facility is ridiculous.

I have went to Anna Elkins for many years and I will continue as long as she is around. She has taken care of me better than any Doctor I have ever been to. She listens and answers any and all the questions I have had. She is someone that gives KDMC a great reputation!
