It was my first visit to KDMC orthopedic they did everything they could do and I would recommend them to anyone needing looked at

Awesome experience! Only there 20min. All questions were answered!

I felt rushed. I don't feel like he heard me and it just seems like all he wanted to do was debunk the ER doctor on what she said. I don't trust the evaluation that he come up with. I don't trust the plan of action. I will be getting a second opinion. And I didn't like how he would cut me off. And he seemed very smart, eloquent, and arrogant and rude. So I will not ever want to see this man again or recommend him for any other services to anybody.

I was a walk in so it is very understandable the time I waited to see the doctor. He was thorough in finding out my medical history that applied to this situation.

A very good team

I was in horrific pain when I arrived and I was met with compassion from check in to check out. I thought they all did a great job. I absolutely loved his nurse. She held my hand while a cortisone shot was put into my arm because she could sense how nervous I was. I would definitely recommend him as a doctor as well.

This is not about the doctor, but about TN in the office, who went above and beyond with trying to get me a referral to a plastic surgeon who could help me. She deserves 10 gold stars.

I was told someone would come in and show me exercises to help with my shoulders. A lady came in, handed me some papers and said here are some exercises you can do to help, and then she walked out.

Yes, the doctor was very agitated and would not listen to me, and so much that I hope I never have to see him again. I'm not trying to complain or just cause trouble, but I will hope I never have to see him again.

Dr. Gilliland listened and answered our questions. He was efficient but didn't make us feel rushed. We appreciate that he called with the results of an MRI quickly and made a referral and appointment with an oncologist.

When you're hurting and need help, it's taking too long to have an MRI or an x-ray done.

Yes, I was seen in a very timely manner, well exceeding my expectations. Everyone was most helpful. And the whole process, including my blood work, only took an hour and 10 minutes from start to finish, which far exceeded my expectations. And Dr. Gilliland did a fantastic job getting me taken care of yesterday. And I thank him for that. And overall, it was just a great experience. Thank you.

It was a very smooth process. I went to the walk-in clinic. I was seen very quickly. I had a diagnosis and x-rays very quickly. I was in there probably maybe an hour tops. So I would highly recommend the doctor and the orthopedics itself. And I love that you have that open clinic.

I had been in so much pain for months. Last time I went my A1C was high so they wouldn't give me injections. This time I came for the same problem..my right hip..after work the previous Friday, I was almost in tears I hurt so bad! So, I decided I was going to the ortho clinic Monday. Im so glad that I did! The Dr said I have bursitis..he gave me steroids and within 2 days of starting them I was pain free!! Months of bad pain gone in TWO DAYS!!!

Dr Gilliland was very concerned, attentive, and thorough. Expressed interest in her sports and said not to hesitate to call if she needs to be seen again.

The entire staff, beginning with the clerks, nurses, Xray techs, and last but not least, Dr. Gilliland, were all excellent. I didn't feel rushed in explaining my injury and the pain it resulted in. He immediately knew what was wrong but went ahead and took new Xrays to check for any further injuries not looked at in Urgent Care. I feel totally safe in his assessment and treatment. Excellent team, Ortho!

The Dr sent the script to the wrong pharmacy, which caused me a lot of inconvenience as well as pain. I did a lot of phoning the two pharmacies plus the hospital. When he got back to me he said that it would be fine to wait until the mail order prescription arrived to start the steroid, even though I was in a lot of pain. Thank goodness for the local CVS who got things worked out for me to get my script the following day. This all happened on a Tuesday and I was able to begin the medicine on Wednesday. The mail order script did arrive but not until Saturday. I was certainly glad that I was able to begin the med several days earlier than if I had waited. I do credit the doctor by giving me an effective prescription, but I was very disappointed in his awaiting for the script to come by mail, rather than simply sending another script.

They were quick and very helpful

This visit was a waste of time. I went there for hip pain. I showed the nurse and doctor where my hip hurt. I did not ask "for a shot" as they said I did. I needed some type of work up.... Why was my hip hurting"? The doctor came in after the nurse and told me I had requested a "shot". He pressed on my hip and asked if that was where it hurt.... Well it hurt there, on the side, but the worse pain was in the front, as I had told both of them. Today, my hip hurts just as much as it did before I went to KDMC. Statistically, only 1/3 of hip injections help. That seems to be sure to using the "palpate and blind stick" technique. I guess I should have asked if they were going to use a ultrasound to identify bursa to be injected. Oh well. I'm no better today than when I went for the appointment two days ago. Live and learn.

The orthopedics department was wonderful. Where he sent me to the ER was horrible. I never will go back to the ER.

Fast and efficient

He understood my diagnosis of ehlers danlos which is kinda rare. He took my concern safely despite my being fairly young. Sometimes dr do not take me seriously due to my condition and he dud and came up with two ideas.
