America's Best-in-State Hospitals 2027

NOVEMBER 5, 2026

ASHLAND – UK King’s Daughters has been included in Newsweek’s list of America’s Best-In-State Hospitals 2027 announced Oct. 29. The honor is given to hospitals that demonstrate an exceptional quality of care and have high patient satisfaction.

This prestigious award is presented in collaboration with Statista, a statistics portal and industry ranking provider.

Access to care is of the utmost importance when choosing between top hospitals. The America’s Best-In-State Hospitals 2026 ranking was created to identify the top hospitals at the state level. Hospitals from all U.S. states were eligible and included in the nationwide survey. Four data sources were used for the evaluation: quality metrics, reputation, patient experience, and a Statista patient reported outcome measures (PROMS) implementation survey. The 800 hospitals scoring the highest across these criteria made the list.

“We are pleased to be included among the top hospitals in the nation,” said Sara Marks, UK King’s Daughters president and CEO. “It’s a testament to our dedication to provide the best possible care for our community.”
