It is more important than ever to be protected from the flu. And UK King's Daughters is pleased to make getting this important immunization easier, by offering walk-in vaccination clinics throughout our communities for the 2025 flu season. Flu vaccination is covered at 100% by Medicare, Medicaid and most health insurance plans.

Walk-in flu shot clinics do not require an appointment and individuals do not need to be patients in the practice to receive a vaccination. High dose vaccines, recommended for those 65 years and older, are available at all clinics.

King's Daughters Drive-Thru Center

King's Daughters Drive-Thru Center, 2406 Carter Ave., Ashland, will begin administering adult and pediatric flu vaccines on Monday, Sept. 15.

An appointment is required. To schedule, call 606-408-8999.

Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurances are accepted for ages 18 and older. Commercial insurance is accepted for pediatric patients ages 2 and older.

Protect your child from the flu

As a parent, you’d do anything to protect your child. Getting them vaccinated against the flu is one of the best steps you can take to safeguard their health! Even better, most insurances cover vaccination at 100% … and many offer rewards for vaccination. So not only is getting the vaccine a great way to protect your child, it’s one of the easiest and cost effective ways, too!

Children six months and older need to be vaccinated against the flu. Medicaid even covers flu vaccination if given in the pediatrician’s office … and your child doesn’t have to be an established patient in the practice to receive the shot!
