BLS Healthcare Provider Course #41408

The BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is intended for certified or non-certified, licensed or non-licensed healthcare professionals.

BLS Pre-Course Requirements:

• Participants must check out a book at lease 72 hours prior to class. UK King's Daughters team members can check out a book at the CPR Training Center. Payroll deduction forms are available for team members to sign. Community students can check out a book at the CPR Training Center. Classes must be paid in full the day the book is acquired; payment is non-refundable. Books are to be returned the day of the class.
   
• If a particpant needs to cancel their attendance, please do so at least 48 hours prior to class start date. Cancellation notifications should be sent to the contacts listed below.

Parking for all students is located next to the Training Center.

Dress code: Business casual or scrubs

KDMC Policy E (37): Come to the course on time. AHA courses adhere to very strict timelines. Instruction begins within 10 minutes of the class beginning, including key concepts and hands-on learning. Team members/students who arrive more than 10 minutes late for the course will not be allowed to attend.
